Overview

Virtual reality presents a computer-generated environment from a tracked viewpoint. It can support training, simulation and remote collaboration. Real-world tracking or passthrough may remain available even when the primary experience is virtual.

How it works

Tracking updates the viewpoint; stereoscopic rendering produces views for each eye. Input devices, spatial audio and application logic create a responsive environment.
