Role in the Augmentiverse
The delivery layer lets content travel from an authoring workflow to real-time applications. Extensions require explicit compatibility checks.
Where it is useful
- Web product visualisation
- Asset delivery to spatial applications
Limits and implementation choices
- Extensions and renderer choices can affect appearance.
- glTF does not encode an entire shared-world service or all authoring semantics.
