An architectural framework for services at the network edge.
Overview
Multi-access Edge Computing describes an ecosystem of applications, platforms and management near the network edge. It is a family of specifications, not a single API or a universal latency promise.

Role in the Augmentiverse
MEC can support distributed spatial services with nearby compute. On-device tracking and graceful degradation remain important.
